How do I get AI Summaries of papers in my references?

Paperguide provides concise AI-generated summaries of your selected papers, including key concepts, findings, and more.

1. Select a Paper from Reference Manager

   In your Paperguide Reference Manager, click on the paper you want summarized. Once clicked, a panel will open on the right side of the screen with the Bib tab selected by default.

2. Switch to AI Summary Tab

   In the right-side panel, switch to the AI Summary tab.

3. Generate AI Summary

   Click on the Summary tab Generate button to get a detailed AI summary of the paper. The summary will include:

   • Key Concepts

     The main ideas, theories, or terms that are essential to understanding the study's focus, context, or findings.

   • Highlights

     Highlights provide a quick overview of the most significant findings or insights of a paper, typically in bullet points.

   • Synopsis

     A quick overview of the research, meant to give a general understanding without much detail, for casual readers.

   • Summary

     It provides a condensed version of the entire paper, including the background, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.

4. Review the Summary

   Once the summary is generated, you can review it for a quick understanding of the paper without reading the full text.
