Choose AI Content Language
Paperguide supports multiple languages across its features, making it versatile for global users. Here’s how you can set and use different languages for AI-generated content in Writer, Chat with PDF, Literature Review, AI Search, and Extract Data.
Setting the Default AI Generation Language

Navigate to Settings: Open your Paperguide settings by clicking on your profile.

Select General Settings: Find the "General" section within the settings screen.

Change AI Generation Language: Click on "AI Generation Language" and select your preferred language from the dropdown menu.
Paperguide currently supports the following languages:

English (US and UK)

German

French

Spanish

Portuguese (EU and BR)

Italian

Japanese

Chinese (Mandarin)

Indonesian

Thai

Vietnamese

Others
For unsupported languages: If you're using Chat with PDF and want to ask a question (or) Writer to respond in Russian (example), you could enter a prompt: Explain (your question) in Russian?
Feature-Specific Language Settings
Writer

Content generated via "Ask AI" commands will be in the selected default language.

To change the language for an individual document, go to 'Document Settings' within the Writer.
If your writing language isn't available, select "Others." AI will generate content in English, and you can use commands like "Write an introduction in [language]."
Chat with PDF

AI responses and answers will be in the default language.

To change the language for an individual chat, use the language option at the top right corner of the chat window.
Workbooks (Literature Review and Extract Data):

AI will generate answers and data columns in the selected language.

To adjust the language for individual entries, use the language option at the top right of your workbook screen.
